This trade fair projectcovers a wide range of medical goods and services. Thetrade fair providesaunique opportunity for professionals in different fields of medicine to share their experience and to learn about new offerings.

The development of the healthcare system is one of the top priorities for the Government of the Tyumen Region. Thefutureoftheregiondepends upon the health of its people, which is why this industry receives a great deal of attention.Specifically,aMedicalTownprojectbased on the European model and technological solutions isbeing developed. UrologyCenterproviding state-of-the-art medical services hasbeenopenedinthe Heftyanik (Oilworker)medicalunit. Center for Thoracic Surgeryto be opened soon inRegional Hospital No.1. In October, Tyumen hosted a Therapeutic Forum,and in December – the Runeuro-2015 International Congresswithleadingneurologists and neurological surgeons as its participants. ForeignspecialistsnotethattheFederalNeurologicalSurgeryCenteris one of the best specialized institutions in Europein terms ofequipment and professional staff.

Tyumen Region participatesina pilot project to create the first Russian Distance Support Center for Children with Diabetes. Intheeventtheprojectfordistancebloodglucosemonitoringisrecognized as successful at the Federal level, the Ministry of Healthcareof the Russian Federation might make a decision to introduce this experience all over Russia. 

Tyumenhas23 clinicalhospitals, 30 outpatient hospitals, 11 maternity hospitals, 16 specialized early treatment centers, and 14 rehabilitation centers. Residentsfromthan50 regionsreceivehightechnologymedicalaidin Tyumen, while over ten thousand residents from the northern parts of Russia go to thehealth resorts and clinics located in the south of the region for medical treatment. Out-patient hospitals are being modernized. The funds to renovate outpatient Hospitals No.14 and 12have been allocated. Thereareseveralwaysoforganizingoutpatient carein the Vostochny micro-district under consideration at the moment. A decision to purchase a new building for the outpatient hospital in the Tarmany Villagehas been made.

Privateclinics,diagnostic, ophthalmic, and other medical centеrs account for alargeniche. There are more than 50 of those in Tyumen alone, as well as63 dental care centers.

All of those take part in this specialized trade fair as exhibitors, workshop and conference organizers, or visitors.

Everyyear, thetrade fairisaccompaniedbyavariedbusinessprogram and a lot of publicity. In 2015, it was attended by over3 thousand people.
